| Letting go of Bitterness: Ephesians 4:31 |
📖 Scripture :
"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice." — Ephesians 4:31 (KJV)
Devotional Reflection:
Life will always give us reasons to be upset — moments where anger rises, bitterness lingers, or harsh words feel easier than grace. But Paul reminds us that these things cannot stay in the heart of a believer. We are called to let them go — not store them, not nurse them — but put them away. Why? Because they keep us from walking in the Spirit and block the peace God wants to give us.

Daily Wisdom Insight:
Bitterness and anger are heavy chains, but forgiveness is the key that sets us free. Releasing malice doesn’t just bless others — it makes room for God’s peace to dwell richly in us.
Practical Application:
When irritation or harsh thoughts arise today, pause and pray before speaking. Replace that bitterness with a word of kindness, even if it’s just in your heart.
Prayer:
Lord,
remove bitterness from my heart.
Take away wrath and anger.
Silence the urge for harsh words.
Fill me with patience and gentleness.
Help me forgive as You forgive.
Let my spirit walk in peace today.
Amen.
