Bible Verse Of The Day

Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.

When You Don't Feel Him: Matthew 28:20

Scripture:

“And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

Matthew 28:20 (KJV)

Reflection:

There are moments when God feels near—when the worship flows, the prayer is answered, or the peace is tangible. But what about the moments when heaven feels quiet? When grief clouds your vision, and it seems like God has stepped away?

It’s in those silent spaces where faith truly grows. God’s presence isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it walks beside us in the form of a kind stranger, a quiet word, or the memory of someone who loved us deeply. Just because we don’t see Him doesn’t mean He isn’t walking every step with us.

Daily Wisdom Insight:

Faith is not built on constant confirmation—it’s built on trust. Even when you feel alone, the promise remains: He is with you always.

Application:

Today, take five minutes to reflect on moments when God seemed absent but later revealed He was there all along. Write them down. Keep a “God Was Here” list—because sometimes the echoes of His presence are clearest in hindsight.

Prayer:

Lord, help me trust You even when I can’t feel You.
Teach me to walk by faith, not by sight.
When the road feels empty, whisper reminders that You are near.
Help me recognize Your presence in unexpected places.
Thank You for walking with me, even when I don’t recognize You.
Amen.

Discussion Question:

Can you recall a time when you didn’t realize God was present until later? How can you remind yourself of His faithfulness the next time you feel alone?
