God Supplies: Malachi 3:10

 ðŸ“– Scripture:

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."Malachi 3:10 (KJV)

Devotional:

This is one of the boldest invitations God gives in Scripture: “Prove Me.” It’s as if He’s saying, “Test My faithfulness and watch what I will do.” Malachi 3:10 isn’t just about tithing — it’s about trust. It’s about bringing the first and best of what we have to God, believing He will provide for the rest.

The promise is breathtaking: windows of heaven flung wide, blessings pouring out until there’s no room left to contain them. This isn’t a trickle of grace — it’s a flood. It’s God saying, “You cannot outgive Me.”

Maybe you’ve been holding back — not just in finances, but in time, forgiveness, love, or obedience. Malachi 3:10 whispers to the hesitant heart: Give. Trust. Watch. The storehouse you fill for God will never run dry, because His supply is endless.

Daily Wisdom Insight:

When we place what’s in our hands into God’s, we move from scarcity to overflow. The act of giving isn’t loss — it’s planting. And like any good harvest, the return comes in due season, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

Reflection:

  • Where am I hesitating to trust God with my “first and best”?
  • Have I been living with a “storehouse” mentality — trusting Him to replenish as I pour out?

Application:

Today, take one step of trust. It could be returning faithfully to tithing, offering extra time in service, or releasing an area of your life you’ve been clutching. As you give, speak Malachi 3:10 aloud — not as a demand, but as a declaration of God’s promise.

Prayer:

Lord,

You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift.
Teach me to trust You enough to give back the best of what I have.
Open the windows of heaven over my life — not just for me,
but that I may be a blessing to others.
Fill my heart, my hands, and my home with Your abundance,
and let me never forget where it came from.

Amen.

💬 Discussion Question:

What “first and best” can you bring to God this week, trusting Him to multiply it beyond what you can see?
