Sanctified Steps: When You Can’t See the Way, God Will Provide| Genesis 22:14 (KJV)

When You Can't See the Way| Genesis 22:14

 πŸ“– Scripture:

“And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.” — Genesis 22:14.

Devotional:

There are moments
when you don’t see how
things will work out—

not clearly,
not fully,
not yet.

The need is real.
The pressure is present.

And the answer…
feels out of reach.

Abraham knew that place.

He walked up the mountain
without knowing
how God would provide.

Step by step—
with questions unspoken
and trust unshaken.

And at the very moment
it mattered most—

God provided.

Not early.
Not late.

Right on time.

That same truth
still stands today—

God sees ahead.
He prepares in advance.
He provides in ways
you cannot yet see.

What feels uncertain now
is not unknown to Him.

And what you cannot see coming…
He already has in place.

You are not forgotten.

You are being provided for.

Reflection:

• What situation in your life feels uncertain right now?
• Where are you struggling to trust that God will provide?
• How can you take a step forward in faith today?

Daily Wisdom Insight:

God’s provision is already in place—
even when you cannot yet see it.

Practical Application:

Today, release the need
to figure everything out.

Instead of asking,
“How will this happen?”

Say instead:
“Lord, I trust You to provide.”

Take one step forward—
even if you don’t see the full path.

Trust that God will meet you
exactly where you need Him.

Prayer:

Father,

There are moments
when I don’t understand
how things will come together.

But thank You
that You are already ahead of me—
preparing what I cannot see.

Help me to trust You
even in uncertainty.

Give me peace
when answers don’t come quickly,
and strengthen my faith
to keep moving forward.

Remind me
that You are my provider—
and You are always on time.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

πŸ’¬ Discussion Questions:

• Why is it difficult to trust God when we don’t see the outcome?
• How can we learn to walk in faith instead of needing full understanding?
• What does it mean to believe that God will provide “on time”?
