Poem: Turn To Me

 

Turn To Me 

 I follow in your footsteps, please turn to me,

 For there's no one else my heart longs to see.

 When I reach out, don't leave my hand free,

 Hold me close in your arms, where I yearn to be.

 My soul awakens whenever you draw near,

 My affection for you is profoundly clear.

 Don't push me away, casting doubt and fear,

 These lips have confessed, it's you I hold dear. 

 Turn to me, my heart, please do not neglect,

 It's you, I vow, I'll forever protect. 

With me, there's no need to be circumspect,

 My love, it lingers, not in haste or suspect.

 Beside me is where you'll find your decree,

 Caring and loving, it's what you'll clearly see.

 So just turn to me.
