Poem: Wait

WAIT

Wait, I am told,

A woman should not be so bold.

Wait, don't even speak,

Are you sure it's he you seek?

Wait, do not be so brash,

For many hearts, he is known to smash.

Wait, do not give your heart so free,

True passion is what you seek.

Wait, your womanhood, not just any man should capture,

A soul mate is what you're after.

Wait, do not be so rushed,

For he is not the last bus.

Wait, do not go for the ride,

For he is a man with many faces to hide.

Wait, do not be in doubt,

The day will come when you will not be without.

Wait, do not be in sorrow,

True love will be found on tomorrow.
