Trusting God In Difficult Times |
Scripture:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Devotional:
When we face difficult situations, we must remember to submit our plans and worries to God. By doing so, we allow Him to guide our steps and straighten our paths. Trusting God doesn’t mean we will always understand His ways, but it does mean we believe He is working for our good.
Reflect on a time when you faced a difficult situation and trusted God. How did He guide you through it? Use this reflection as a reminder of His faithfulness and love.
Think about a time when you faced a difficult situation. How did you respond? Did you try to handle it on your own, or did you seek God's guidance? Trusting God means believing that He knows what’s best for us, even when we don't understand His ways.
Today, practice trusting God with your decisions. Before making a choice, pray and ask for His guidance. Reflect on His faithfulness in your life and remember times when He has led you through difficult circumstances. Submit your plans to Him, and trust that He will direct your path.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for guiding me through life's challenges. Help me to trust You with all my heart and to lean on Your wisdom rather than my own understanding. Lead me on the path You have set for me, and give me the courage to follow You. Amen.
Discussion Question:
How can you trust God more in your current situation?
