📖 Scripture:
“If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” —Mark 5:28 (KJV)
Devotional:
She didn’t need an audience.
She didn’t cry out.
She didn’t even ask for healing with words.
She simply reached.
In the press of the crowd, weighed down by twelve long years of affliction, one quiet woman believed that even the hem of His garment held enough power to make her whole. And she was right.
Sometimes, the boldest faith comes in the softest movements. A whisper. A step. A touch. When strength is gone and hope is fading, there’s still healing in the reach.
Today, maybe you don’t have the strength to run, shout, or lead with confidence. But you can reach—reach for Him in prayer, in trust, in the quiet places no one sees. And just like that woman, your faith won’t go unnoticed.
He still responds to those who simply touch the hem.
Reflection:
Is there something you’ve stopped praying for because you feel too weary to ask again?
What would it look like to simply reach in faith today?
Daily Wisdom Insight:
Faith doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
Even the softest reach toward Jesus can release the greatest healing.
Application:
Pause today and whisper the prayer you’ve been holding back.
Stretch out your heart and touch the hem in trust—He sees your reach, even when no one else does.
Prayer:
Lord,
You see me even when I feel invisible.
Thank You for reminding me that one quiet step of faith still matters.
I may not have the words today—but I do have the reach.
Help me to trust You with it.
Amen.
